Police State

about

We’ve all read or heard about the Orwellian police state as described in 1984 but have we thought about the collateral damage from the weaponization of citizens against citizens? As President Lincoln once said, “A house divided against itself cannot stand.”

With state/corporate-driven climate of chaos designed to keep us at odds, how can we unite against our real enemies and not each other?

lyrics

What do you really want from freedom?
I feel eyes on me when no one's there.
Is anyone safe? For what reason,
If there's no one left to care?

I feel my fear's contagious.
Everyone's latching onto outrageous lies!
Delivery is shameless.
Could be dangerous, the very least it isn't wise.

When the realization comes
that something's unmistakably wrong,
when the realization comes
that something's unmistakably wrong
it's too late, it's too late.

Seems odd to keep our distance
when we've always been so close.
And when we counter resistance
no one says what they really know.

I feel my fear's contagious.
Everyone's latching onto outrageous lies.
Delivery is shameless.
Could be dangerous, the very least it isn't wise.

When the realization comes
that something's unmistakably wrong,
when the realization comes
that something's unmistakably wrong
it's too late, it's too late.

Turn your head as the lines are drawn.
Do you know who you're hiding from?
And your social distortion
leads to exploitation!

You know the stress will kill you.
We're not able to freely breath.
What will happen when we all pull through
and it's nothing like it used to be?

I feel that fear's contagious.
Everyone's latching onto outrageous lies.
Delivery is shameless.
Could be dangerous, the very least it isn't wise.
It isn't wise.
